Change in Estimated GFR and Albuminuria as End Points in Clinical Trials: A Perspective of People Living With Kidney Disease
As people living with kidney disease, we are excited about the innovations that are being developed in kidney replacement therapies, but we and our families wonder why we do not have innovations in early stages of kidney disease that prevent us from progressing to kidney failure. It seems that at times the health care community emphasizes treating kidney failure rather than early detection, intervention, and coordination of care.
