Letter to the Editor: Nutritional Parameters Associated With Hospital Mortality in Patients With Acute Kidney Injury
We read with great interest the prospective single-center study by Martín-del-Campo et al.,1 which assessed nutritional status within 24 hours of acute kidney injury diagnosis and examined its association with in-hospital mortality (n = 102; mortality 36·3%). The authors are to be commended for drawing attention to potentially modifiable nutrition-related factors in a population at particularly high risk.
