Severe Hypercalcemia in a Kidney Transplant Recipient: A Quiz

A 55-year-old man with history of end-stage kidney disease (ESKD) owing to diabetic nephropathy status post deceased donor kidney transplant 4 years ago presented to the clinic with 1 month of fatigue and poor appetite. At symptom onset, the patient had upper respiratory infection symptoms, which spontaneously resolved, and he was now without fever, cough, shortness of breath, headache, or visual changes.
