We thank the authors for their thoughtful comments and their shared commitment to advancing point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) in nephrology.1 The section of our article in question was meant to highlight the importance of longitudinal, competency-based training specifically designed for nephrologists. We recognize the value of the available resources, including the ASDIN’s certification programs—one of the authors (AKo) previously served on its POCUS certification committee. However, POCUS training is a rapidly evolving and multifaceted field, with a limited pool of experts, and it is neither feasible nor advisable for any single organization to shoulder its development alone.
