We were excited to read your November 2024 article Associations Between Dietary Potassium Intake From Different Food Sources and Hyperkalemia in Patients With Chronic Kidney Disease by Dr. Morimoto et al.1 We thought that the goal of the article to look at foods associated with hyperkalemia is excellent, as it has great clinical applicability. We all can acknowledge that humans consume food and not potassium.
