We would like to share ideas on the publication “Application of ChatGPT to Support Nutritional Recommendations for Dialysis Patients: A Qualitative and Quantitative Evaluation.1” This study sought to assess the use of ChatGPT-4 to develop individualized meal plans for dialysis patients, with an emphasis on the complexities of individual dietary preferences and demands. The researchers employed simulation approaches to give ChatGPT-4 with virtual patient data, including as demographics, laboratory values, dietary preferences, and financial limits, to develop daily meal plans with recipes and nutritional analyses.
