CONCLUSIONS: Our study demonstrated that during renal pre-transplant evaluation, dialyzed patients receive a high dose of ionizing radiation. Considering that transplanted individuals have a high incidence of cancer due to multifactorial etiology, it is mandatory to reduce the ionizing radiation imaging.
