Clostridioides difficile infection is a major public health priority.1 Individuals with CKD are at high risk of infection2,3; however, the risk of C difficile disease among individuals with CKD has not been systematically evaluated. Thus, we conducted a prospective cohort study to explore the association of CKD and incident hospitalization with C difficile infection.
