Precisely estimating pediatric glomerulopathy incidence would inform understanding of epidemiology, clinical trial design, and ultimately the management of children with these rare conditions. However, such estimates, overall and for glomerulopathy subtypes, are challenged by disease rarity; imprecise knowledge of population at risk; and variability across studies with respect to demographics, access to care, and threshold to perform a kidney biopsy.
