Regional citrate anticoagulation (RCA) is the preferred anticoagulation method for continuous kidney replacement therapy (CKRT) recommended by KDIGO. Limited availability of calcium-free solutions often imposes challenges to the implementation of RCA for CKRT (RCA-CKRT).
