Erratum Regarding “Pregnancy Complicated by Hypertension and Hypokalemia” (Am J Kidney Dis. 2020;76[4]:A21-A22)
In the Quiz entitled “Pregnancy Complicated by Hypertension and Hypokalemia” that appeared in the October 2020 issue of AJKD (Garg et al, volume 76, issue 4, pages A21-A22; https://doi.org/10.1053/j.ajkd.2020.04.012), the section of the Discussion titled “What is the differential diagnosis of hypertension and hypokalemia observed in this patient?” erroneously included mention of Gordon syndrome. To correct this error, the first paragraph of this section should omit “Gordon syndrome (pseudohypoaldosteronism type 2)” from the list of differential diagnoses, the seventh paragraph (reading “Gordon syndrome is caused by a gain-of-function mutation in the WNK1 or WNK4 genes and manifests as hypertension, hyperkalemia, and metabolic acidosis with low-normal aldosterone level”) should be removed in full, and reference 4 (Hadchouel et al) should be omitted.
